We pride ourselves on our professionalism, courtesy, attire, and consummate music making. We have performed from the international concert stage to weddings and corporate parties and know that each situation requires its own repertoire and theme. For your event, a music coordinator will work with you to tailor the perfect instrumentation, repertoire, as well as set up a music schedule and signed contracts; at the event, we'll adjust our volume level, repertoire and schedule as fits the mood and ambience of the date.

Pizzicato Jazz consists of some of the finest jazz musicians on the scene today. As consummate professionals that have performed internationally for over 25 years, we will give your event the special touch that makes the mood of your event. We are based in New York City and perform events from Manhattan, Philadelphia, upstate New York, and Boston to the Hamptons, Long Island,Westchester county and the New Jersey shore.

Members of Pizzicato Jazz have performed and toured with Chet Baker, Cab Callaway, Horace Silver, Jaki Byard, Kenny Werner, and many others. Jazz is an American musical and cultural tradition, and we bring the source straight to you for the finest quality music at your event.

What kind of events does Pizzicato Jazz perform at?
We perform internationally from the concert stage to local barmitzfahs, weddings, and private parties....from Kentucky Derby Parties to a 50th anniversary party to swing dancing, you name it and we've probably done it! We've worked at venues such as Cipriani's, the Rainbow Room, the Oak Room, the Kennedy Center, not to mention the Montreal Jazz Festival, JVC Jazz Festival, and more. In the past year alone we've performed anniversary parties, birthday parties, weddings, and corporate parties for Morgan Stanley, Satori Consulting, Pfizer, the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Boston College Club, and many others.

What kind of music can Pizzicato Jazz provide?
We have a repertoire of over 600 songs ranging from the American Songbook and traditional swing to great jazz artists like Miles Davis, John Coltrane to the music of Sinatra, Billie Holiday, Cole Porter, Nat King Cole, and many others, not to mention our own originals. Jazz is our specialty from Dixieland to big band swing to a laidback piano trio, but we also have a repertoire that includes bossa nova, blues, motown, Beatles and more.
